Healthy Chocolate Hazelnut Bites

After discovering The Anna Edit I started listening to her podcast, At Home With. After listening to the episodes with guests I knew, I decided to listen to the ones with women I'd never heard of. It was fascinating! One episode that I really enjoyed was with food blogger, author and nutritional health coach Madeleine Shaw. I have since investigated her blog and cookbook. I made her Immune Boosting Chicken Broth for my family this week as we've all been struck down with varying degrees of cold over the past few weeks. So I thought I'd carry on and try her raw Hazelnut and Chocolate Bites...

100g hazelnuts
200g dates
2 tbsp golden syrup
2 tbsp oats
1 pinch of salt
100g dark chocolate

1. Put all the ingredients, except the chocolate into a food processor and blitz until smooth.
2. Place on a lined baking tray in a rectangle about 2cm thick and freeze for an hour.
3. Melt the chocolate. Cut into small squares and dip in the chocolate.
4. Freeze again and chill until needed.

And there you go! I may have tried a couple already and they are very yummy! Hopefully satisfying enough to tide me over on my tea breaks at work, which is when I get my most snack-ish! X Bo
